Code of Conduct ESNNA & Natural Mystic Travel Agency

“In accordance with Law No. 28251, the Ministry of Foreign Commerce and Tourism (MINCETUR) has implemented a policy to combat the sexual exploitation of young girls, boys, and adolescents (ESNNA). In collaboration with ESNNA, Natural Mystic Travel Agency has entered into an agreement to prevent and eradicate this issue. Consequently, we affirm the following:

We vehemently oppose the sexual exploitation of young girls, boys, and adolescents in PERU and globally, particularly within the realms of travel and tourism. Recognizing that such behavior directly violates individual fundamental rights and undermines the intrinsic goals of tourist activities in our country.

We commit to reporting and condemning individuals engaged in such touristic activities, along with establishments and services that offer, promote, facilitate, or tolerate the exploitation of children and adolescents. In alignment with this commitment, Natural Mystic Travel Agency subscribes to this Code of Conduct against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the tourism sector.

This Code of Conduct serves as a formal declaration with the primary objective of establishing a mandatory code for all individuals working at Natural Mystic Travel Agency. The aim is to protect children and adolescents from any form of sexual exploitation and human trafficking associated with travel and tourism.

Members of our Travel Company pledge to take necessary actions to safeguard children and adolescents against sexual exploitation. We commit to maintaining an ethical policy of zero tolerance for the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents within the tourism and travel sphere.”

Likewise, the individuals comprising Natural Mystic Travel Agency, in order to take the necessary measures to protect girls, boys, and adolescents against sexual exploitation, commit to:

  • We will educate and train our staff on the company’s policy regarding the prevention of child and adolescent exploitation in the tourism and travel industry.
  • We will display noticeable signs to inform clients and service providers about our stance against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the tourism industry.
  • We will incorporate the clause opposing the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in all our contracts with service providers.
  • We will prominently feature the statement ‘Tourism promotes a childhood and adolescence without sexual exploitation, and for this reason, we do not accept any act that supports or promotes the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
